Jennifer Mitchell

I consider myself a life-long learner, always looking for ways to help myself, students, and colleagues grow and achieve success. As a special educator, administrator, mother, and foster mother, I believe each of these experiences gives me insight to how best meet individuals' potential. I recently received my Doctorate in Educational Leadership, and successfully defending my dissertation regarding the impact of social emotional learning initiatives in a rural elementary school. I believe that the supports we have put in place at each level in our school and district help proved success for some of our toughest to reach kids.
